Overview

Imager Scan Engine API Diagram

The above figure shows a general outline of the operation of the Imager Scan Engine API.

The Imager Scan Engine provides the following functionalities:

Reboot the Imager Scan Engine : It allows to reboot the device
Select read mode : It allows to select read mode option
Set illumination properties : It allows to enable or disable illumination and brightness properties
Set reread timeout value : It allows to set the minimum time between two equal barcode readings.
Get scanned codes : It allows to get the scanned codes that are read from the imager scan engine device.
Save image : It allows to capture an image from the imager scan engine device and save it in the path indicated. Only supported in TV100/DTD200
